This 15th Century German woodcut depicts a storm of frogs falling from the sky. It is originally from the Prodigiorum ac ostentorum chronicon from 1557, by Conrad Lycosthenes. The book, thought of as a book of oddities, describes wonders and phenomena beyond the norm in regards to things such as weather, astrological events, and medical anomalies. In regards to the frogs themselves, the text details a great earthquake in Germany, that collapsed villages and brought rain carrying frogs with it. Raining frogs is actually a very real, albeit rare, meteorological event. It typically happens when a tornado goes over a body of water ripe with frogs, picks 'em up, and then they fall from the atmosphere.
